I started My Husband and I on the money jar system about six months ago. It didn't go so good! My husband didn't Quite get the concept of living strickly on cash. He kept using his debit card whenever he wanted something.

So this time I pulled out the jars again but I added more jars for every conceivable expense. It seemed to be working til he needed about $40.00 more to buy a BBQ he wanted. He took money out of the clothes jar and the misc jar to pay for it. So now I'm going to have to add Peter And Paul jars (to rob Peter to pay for Paul!)
