Mike the financial moron

I am a 45 year old man who in the past few years has suffered a Divorce with a retro active child support payment, Cancer with a large medical prescription cure, and a taste for champagne lifestyle on a beer budget.

But who am i kidding, i never budget, i just rob Peter to pay Paul. Minimum payments are my way of staying ahead, but i am always getting farther in the hole.

I was blessed in one respect, that was to have met the most amazing women. She has made me want to become a better person and we are discussing moving in with each other. This has sobered me up as i have nothing to bring to the table except debt.

I need to work on my finances, i have a good job but need to remove my debt and curb my spending habits.

I believe the first step is this article, admitting that i am a total boob and it is time to get my affairs in order.
